Ella Boehme and other Bishop Union High School students are organizing a Save the Post Office protest this Saturday August 22nd, at 9:30AM, as a part of a nationwide day of action. We hope to see you there!

The organizers say, “We are showing our support of the postal service and our local postal workers in light of recent actions taken against the USPS in an attempt to suppress the vote. The USPS is a vital public service for millions of Americans for thousands of reasons, and we will advocate for their protection before and after the election.”

You can find more information about this day of action at this website, including how to participate from the safety of your home. At the in-person protest, protesters will be wearing masks and will stay physically distanced.

We’ll meet across the street from the Bishop Post Office at 585 W Line Street.
