  1. I came here to seek your endorsements for School board. Candidates for this election. I moved here not too long ago. I cannot find any decent info that distinguishes one candidate from the other. I noticed that your organization weighs in on schools, education, and social justice issues and opinions, so I hoped to find something here. I don’t want to vote for someone who wants to ban books on say, slavery, or the holocaust — for instance. Or LGBTQIA+ representation in history. But sadly I see you are not weighing in. I’m disappointed, yet, I suppose I understand the risk of alienating people in a small town. Still. Anyhow, if you have any recommendations on where I could get deeper info on each candidate. please call me. Thanks for all that you do!

    1. Sorry I missed your inquiry, Heidi. Nearly all of the comments that show up are spam (most of them in Russia!), so I sometimes miss the genuine ones. We did endorse local candidates in a few MailChimp messages and happily all of them won, so I can assure you that there will be no book banning in our local schools.

      Thanks for your support!

      Harold
